Mid North Coast

Probably one of your first choices is where to have your wedding.  Around the Mid North Coast there are many headlands, bush retreats, wonderful parks and gardens, wineries, stately homes, boat cruises, nature reserves, beaches and the list goes on.  I have had the pleasure of marrying people in beautiful restaurants, their own home, high on the mountains or with the water lapping our feet on a beach. 

Keep in mind that your venue should include adequate shelter in case of weather problems, and if outdoors easy access for elderly relatives, guests and cars.  If you are going to provide chairs for your guests, red carpet, decorations etc these have to be taken into account as well.   

If you are having your ceremony at a reception venue than many of these points will be taken care of and many of these venues have their own garden settings for outdoor weddings as well as chapels. 

Some outdoor areas need to be booked with local councils or National Parks.  This is essential so that you do not clash with a wedding already booked for that time and place. 

I am only too happy to discuss the venue of your choice and to advise you of any problems that may occur there.  Any outdoor venue should have a backup plan in case it is just impossible to perform the service at your preferred venue. 

Remember to check with your photographer regarding the time of the day.  If your wedding is outside than this becomes important to ensure that adequate light is available for the best results.
